Something About Me and My Book:
Actually, I'm not Human. I'm an ALIEN from the Planet isnot-isso , rudely booted off the Mudder Ship years ago after we crash landed on this Earth. Blamed me for the foul-up and the misdirections, they did. So, they left me here when the
SOS Rescue Flying Saucer arrived.

I HATE MY UFO RELATIVES..those snotty nosed little green basTOIDS...grrrr-rrrrr

I've written 4 (incomplete but soon to be completed) books, all dusty and sitting in my top bureau drawer. The first is a Comedic Pirate Parody, This parody circles around a very dysfunctional family, impaired by their lack of brains and their burning desire to kill each other. ("Gulp!")

My 2nd book is a Heritage Story in homage to our gallant forefathers. 3rd book is a collection of my Poems.

4th and final incompleted book is titled ""TEN EASY LESSONS ON HOW TO LIVE AMISH WHEN YOU'RE A CATHOLIC"

In celebration of the New Year, here's a view of the Past, portrayed in the Heritage Folk Song I wrote in 2006 titled "PAST PERFECT", narrated by fictitious

'One Room School House' teacher, Mr. D'Arcy McGee.

Currently, I'm adding numerous more characters and converting this Folk Song fodder into a Story Book Adventure, situated on the Miramichi (" meer-m'shee ") River, New Brunswick, Canada.

CHILDHOOD MEMORIES - "MRS. GREY'S LAP"

I was never, EVER, Webster's definition of a "Perfect Child" and I blame this fact on circumstance. I was the third "Bundle of Joy" in a litter of eight, born in a scant six years to a woman devoid of any innate motherly talents.

I became lost in the numbers and at a very early age, found happiness by telling Tall Tales, especially to myself and eventually I believed I was "CHARLOTTE", the kidnapped daughter of a mother who loved her dearly and a father, who was always home. I searched the… Continue

I'd love to get in contact with you. I'll add you to my friend list. Check out my book's website - thejourneyclub.net - I've started another book, Journey Through The Galaxy. I've only got a few pages written, but once I get the marketing going for The Journey then I'll work on #2 in earnest.

That's a good sign that people are taking your sample work. It shows it catches their attention and interest. I hope you can stay motivated to finish the book ... I think that's its own reward, the feeling of accomplishment. When do I find time to write, you asked? Even if I can only work on it an hour here and there, I find that working in small doses actually helps me focus on one section, then start fresh the next time. That way, I don't rush through and miss things.
Best wishes and keep at it! Before you know it, you'll have a finished novel!
