Something About Me and My Book:: Deborah L. Shumake, (Ja`Phia) is pastor of Greater One Ministries, Inc. with the message that Greater Is He (Jesus) that is in You ( the power within you). The ministry focuses on unleashing individual greatness through discovering your purpose in God and utilizing that purpose for unifying and growing the Body to the Glory of God.
With 29 years in the commercial printing industry Deborah has the unique ability to design and graphically enhance visions.
She is known throughout the United States as "GOD'S Woman." Combining her skills, gifts and talents she is the founding Publisher and Executive Editor of God's Woman Magazine, the magazine for women who love and serve Jesus Christ. Each year she publishes the God's Woman CalendarTM that spotlights 14 women across the nation. The focus is on modern day women with the character of biblical women. They share their stories, businesses and ministries.
The Woman of Color Study Bible, published by Nia Publishing and World Bible, describes her as among 120 female biblical scholars in the nation. She is the author of two articles of women of the scriptures portraying them as being relevant to today's woman. Deborah is also highlighted in the book Sister to Sister, Vol. II, Dr. Linda H. Hollies, Judson Press and the Sister To Sister companion Journal, Judson Press.
Her latest book, "But, I Don't Even Like Her," is written to enhance women's ministry. Designed to help women discover their gifts through looking at 12 women of the bible.
