Something About Me and My Book:: Dear Mom: Remembering, Celebrating, Healing, is a heartfelt "thank you" expressed in letters to my mom nine years after her sudden death. Stories that celebrate values, life lessons and plastic pink flamingos resonate with Baby Boomer women who find themselves in "life without Mom" mode. Finding Your Pink Flamingos is the sequel, guiding readers to find the valuesof their mother's life hidden in her words, actions and traditions, like my mom's plastic pink flamingos. Taking those values into the workplace, especially in customer service, is the topic of my third book, JourneyWords: 52 Strategies to Achieve Great Service.

Very poignant topic. Personally, I believe we can't tell enough stories about the people in our lives. Moms, in particular, hold a singular place. My life without mom began while my mom was still alive. And, yes, it is quite a journey!
Keep writing because no one else can tell your stories for you!
