Something About Me and My Book:
Dimitris P. Kraniotis is an award-winning poet. He was born in 1966 in Stomio, a coastal town in central Greece. He studied at the Medical School of the Aristotle University in Thessaloniki. He lives and works as a physician (Internal Medicine Specialist) in Larissa, Greece. He is the author of 4 poetry books: Traces (1985), Clay Faces (1992), Fictitious Line (2005), Dunes (2007). He is Academician (Academy Tiberina of Rome & International Academy of Micenei, Italy), Doctor of Literature (by WAAC), President of 22nd World Congress of Poets (by UPLI), President of World Poets Society (W.P.S), Vice-President of Larissa Union of Poets & Writers, Ambassador to Greece of Poetas del Mundo (Chile), Editorial Director of the medical magazine "Hippocrates", Member of the Editorial Board of the Greek literary magazine "Graphi" and Member of National Society of Greek Literary Writers, Hellenic Literary Society, Greek PEN, Hellenic Society of Writing Physicians, International Society of Greek Writers, United Poets Laureate International, World Academy of Arts & Culture, International Writers Association (IWA), etc. He has won many awards for his poetry which has been translated and published in many countries.

The 2011 Nashville International Book Festival takes
place June 3rd through 5th at RiverGate Mall in Goodlettsville, Tennessee.
Throughout the mall will be local television, government and sports
personalities reading for 30 minutes to a group of children or students.
