Must be fascinating work, Dr. McCoy, dealing with, or studying, such personalities. Maybe it's why I'm attracted to it in some small way, include such characters in my fiction writing, why I liked Columbo so much as a fictional t.v. character, always dealing with and out-smarting the egotist. Same for James Lee Burke's stories, which are heavy with miscreants and other psycho-social freaks. Individual social deviants are one thing to isolate and study, but wouldn't it be something if we could make progress, or find promise, in dealing with the anti-social perverts created by cultural development, such as the Taliban. Unless we are and I'm missing something, which is a good possibility.
Best wishes for your work. Damn, and you seem to even get paid for it. What a gig.

By the way, not sure if you do fiction, but, if so, have you considered signing into www.crimespace.ning.com?
