Something About Me and My Book:
I'm recently retired from the offices of a major soft drink company, so I now have the time to do what I love best: write. I wrote short stories all through high school, but it was not until later in life when I went to college that my writing career really began. I'm a life-long mystery buff and was a long-time member of the Agatha Christie society, which I'm sad to say, no longer exists. I'm now a member of Sisters In Crime. My specialties are mystery romance and romantic suspense. My first novel, ROMANCING A MYSTERY, was influenced by the writings of Agatha Christie, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Jane Austen.

Charlotte Ross has lived every uneventful day of her ordinary life in a small town in downstate Illinois. When her mystery loving friend, Jane Marshall, invites her, and a tag-along friend from the office, on a ten day driving tour through England and Ireland, Charlotte jumps at the chance to shake off this middle class, mid-western existence, and break away from her controlling mother whose unsuccessful attempts to marry her off to some of the oldest and wealthiest men in town have left Charlotte with a desperate need to get away.

Escape your cares and travel along with three friends on a dream vacation that begins as a carefree drive through the British countryside, but soon takes a turn for the worse. A violent thunderstorm and unforeseen road constructions force our heroines to take detours that will eventually end in certain destiny.

Immerse yourself in the pure fun of reading this light-hearted, mystery romance. Come along on the riotous ride as Charlotte Ross, Jane Marshall, and Erin Shannon encounter the staunch British Aristocracy. While staying at their pretentious Elizabethan Manor House, these out-of-place Americans involve themselves in outrageous misadventures that lead them to solve a centuries-old murder mystery, and find unexpected romance.

If you love the works of Jane Austen, Agatha Christie and Arthur Conan Doyle, with a touch of Oscar Wilde’s wit thrown in to spice things up, then this novel is definitely your cup of tea. You may find yourself on the next flight to England in search of that elusive manor house, where you just might discover an unexpected romance and a murder mystery of your very own.

Romancing A Mystery is available on Amazon.com.
