Frances Lucas has lived in Birmingham, Alabama for over 40 years. She is a working mother with three “should be grown” children and has progressively strengthened her faith while God has improved her life through mistakes, persistence and a sense of humor. Her passion in life surfaced after major setbacks which proved to her that good things can come from bad experiences. She believes God’s purpose for her life is to share her experiences and help others to learn from their life struggles and mistakes so they can be who God wants them to be and serve both Him and others. Frances is a Christian coach who also coaches in career development and personal improvement, facilitates self-improvement classes and enjoys writing.
Frances has a degree in business management and a master in human resources. She is a graduate of Corporate Coach University, and has also obtained certifications in performance management, consulting and organizational development, and is a certified coaching clinic facilitator. Frances has developed leadership, employee development and mentoring programs and is experienced with both group and one-on-one coaching. Her passion is helping women through women’s ministry networks by coaching, facilitating classes and facilitating retreats.
She has recently created an 8-week program called “Are You Ready” to help others find their testimony and also what God wants them to do in their life. She created Breadcrumbs which are motivational cards to leave behind to make a difference in the lives of others in the areas of relationships, health, finance, career and spirituality. From Breadcrumbs came her first book, “Breadcrumbs from Genesis” which is a devotional journal to help others slowly read through the Bible, find out what God wants them to learn from it and how they can apply it to their lives.
Her book began from reading God’s word and taking time for Him first thing every morning. God continues to open doors and opportunities for her as she continues her journey through the Bible where she reads one chapter a day and asks God what she can do to help others understand His word better. Her message to others is to put Him first in all they do and wait for Him to show them what they can do through sharing their testimony and using their talents to make a difference.
