Something About Me and My Book:
Freddy Niagara Fonseca, Renaissance man, poet, dramatic reader, impresario, creator of This Enduring Gift has immersed himself in the arts all his life and read tens of thousands of poems in five languages. With the collaboration of gifted readers, musicians, dancers, and actors, he has presented over 50 poetry readings of all styles, eras, and cultures.

He believes that poetry and the whole world will drastically change once a new, spiritual paradigm of consciousness and language emerges. Poetry will be experienced, written, and appreciated in universal terms. He lives in Fairfield, IA.

His recently published anthology, Fairfield’s No. 1 Bestselling Poetry Book “This Enduring Gift - A Flowering of Fairfield Poetry - 76 Poets Who Found Common Ground in One Small Prairie Town” reads like a lush and poetic travel journal, featuring 796 pages of fictional as well as ordinary experiences in our lives, alternating with our deeper, spiritual aspirations, and illuminating everything from the inside out.

Endorsed by Donovan, two Poets Laureate, Mary Swander (IA) and Walter Butts (NH), this is a cosmopolitan and visually impressive compilation with 300 poems penned by 76 poets who converged to live in just one small Iowa town. They've come from many parts of the US, as well as several European countries, South-America, Canada, and Australia.

Authored and compiled in 16 diverse chapters with introductions by Freddy Niagara Fonseca.

I

    Opals, playful, transparent, pure;

    One rose quartz, heart-shaped and glowing;

    Sapphires, azure like some pensive gaze;

    Diamonds, strangely lucid,…
