Something About Me and My Book:: I'm a published writer of fiction and nonfiction, both magazines and books. I've won several awards in writing contests. I've acted in an independent movie and on stage but I feel my artistic talents are better suited to the written page.

I'm the editor of NightScripts, newsletter of the Tulsa NightWriters, a 100 plus member writers' group.

I'm a contributing author for Francine Silverman's book, Book Marketing A-Z and I've had dozens of short stories and articles published in national magazines.

My new book, Saturday Night Cocoa Fudge is a memoir in the era of bobby socks and poodle skirts and the little girl in the 1950s Deep South that wore both. It illustrates her eccentric family that worshipped God yet believed the Wolf Man (the 7th son of the 7th son) could cure their child. It tells of the sweetly flawed women that taught her how to be what she was meant to be.

Book release

My book, Saturday Night Cocoa Fudge, was released September 2008! Since then I've had booksignings, a book launch party and was even interviewed about it on television! Whoo hooo
