Something About Me and My Book:: My book is entitled 'Growing Forward' and tells the story of my life up to the age of 24. I was born into a fundamentalist Christian cult and left my home and family aged 17 to start a new life. I was in Borstal (young offenders institution) aged 19, and experienced homelessness for one night only, before settling down aged 22. In 1979 I was diagnosed with testicular cancer and I recovered. My first bok covers my life from 1956 until the early 1980's - the second book, which I am already working on, will be called 'More Forward', and will tell the story of my life up until the age of 40.

I am a first-time author! I have just self-published my first book 'Growing Forward', which tells the story of my childhood in a fundamentalist Christian cult in England during the late 1950's and early 1960's. I escaped from the cult alone in 1973, aged 17, and the book goes on to tell my story as I found my feet in the 'real world', recounts the mistakes I made and the different steps I took.
