I am a freelance architectural photographer among other things living on St. Simons Island off the coast of Georgia. My new book, "The Idiat and the Odd-yssey," is an "international" tour of the state of Georgia. I visited over 70 communities in GA named for foreign locations, researched the naming history then photographed ironic things that seemed to connect the two places. Some are very funny, some are unbelievable. An exhibit from the book has been displayed at the Georgia Tech campus and I recently gave a talk at the Georgia Center for the Book in Decatur.
