My sister, Audrey, and I have shared a lifelong love of "story," and especially of romance. It all began when I insisted Audrey expand her horizons by reading Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Many other classic and not so classic romances followed. Both of us remain avid readers. To this day, Audrey is the first person whom I call when I discover a great new read or a wonderful author.
It was just a small step from reading and sharing our love of books to writing them. Each of us brings unique gifts and talents to our stories. Audrey ensures that each of our tales have a sense of style, humor, and a romantic spirit. I bring some heart, a dash of imagination, and some real grit. We believe that this mixture of ingredients ensures that our readers are well satisfied with our stories.
While Audrey and I may argue about whether a hero should be scarred or unscathed or whether pirates are sexier than Vikings, our shared writing has brought us closer together and become a source of joy in our lives. We hope that you, our readers, discover and share this same joy.
