Something About Me and My Book:: I'm a small business operator familiar with bumpy rides like flight 1220 in which Paul Thurber finds he cannot get off of after he's told the plane will crash. He shouldn't worry, says the divine Being speaking through the stranger one row up, Paul was one of four survivors and should "be happy with that". As Paul sees more and more revelations of what happens to the plane, he decides he has to prevent the crash, the exact opposite of what the Being repeatedly tells him. The result is a here-and-now thriller with a theological conundrum woven through it.
