Something About Me and My Book:
My beautiful, talented and tragic grandmother Alice compelled me from her grave to write the story of her life. "All the love in the Land, Alice" is the result. Couched as historical fiction, told in her voice and those of her family and friends, the book is really a biography of a talented and driven woman who wove her own history in the early 20th century.

Hi, Joan.  That would be great!

I have a couple of westerns out so far.  The Devil's Crescent has gotten some pretty good reviews.  There's also My Colorado Love, if you'd care to try one of those in the meantime.

I hope to finish up my western this month and get it published.  No rest for the weary!

I checked out your book on Amazon, Joan.  Really outstanding reviews. Congratulations!  I was so impressed, I ordered a copy for myself.  Can't wait to read what you've written.

Hi, Joan.  My mother-in-law made this book, So, What Is Love?, her primary focus after my father-in-law passed on.  She wanted to tell other caregivers that they were not alone, that all caregivers share common problems.  It is written in the first person, with a familiar style as though she's speaking to the reader across the kitchen table and a couple of cups of coffee.

She and I worked on structuring some of the text to provide some thoughts about how to handle different situations, while still maintain one's sanity.  That's often extremely hard when your entire world seems to be heading south!  We worked on it together toward the end of her life.  Mom made me promise that if something happened to her before the book was finished that I would publish it for her.  I have done so.

Welcome, Joan!  Very glad to meet you.  I like the concept for your book.  I wrote and published a book with my mother-in-law about being the caregiver of an Alzheimer patient.

Welcome to the Book Marketing site.  Your book sounds interesting, especially as my first book, which I published two years ago, was about the life of my mother, born 1914.  I exchange book reviews with other authors to boost my listings.  I'd be happy to exchange with you if you're interested.
