Dealing with a feuding family, itself divided by religious zeal, becomes a serious obstacle for the young lovers. Separated by circumstances can their love for one another survive?Over time Mack and Effy learn the truth about their respective families because secrets never stay secret forever. "Jimmy Mack - Some Kind of Wonderful" is the first of a series of novels set in Bradford and Halifax between 1964 and 1969 involving the twosome and their friends. Parallel interweaving novels in the same time period are in the process of being written.
