Karen M. Bence is the multiple award-winning author of Midnight Revelations – vol. 1 The Dark Whispers Series. The Unrepentant Siren is the second book in the series. Ms. Bence graduated cum laude from Dickinson College with a degree in psychology and from The University of Pennsylvania with a Masters in Social Work. A former social worker, psychotherapist and educator, she has more recently turned her professional attention to fiction writing. She is able to draw upon her in-depth understanding of complex families, and the oftentimes destructive coping mechanisms individuals use to navigate the world, to weave tales that cross the genres of supernatural mystery, romance, and horror. Ms. Bence has been extensively interviewed for domestic and international radio programs and web podcasts. She currently lives on a horse farm outside of Atlanta and breeds champion Great Danes.
A new review for Midnight Revelations for a new year:“The characters are so real and finely wrought… The plot is thoroughly twisted and yet very highly maintained. There is no variance or drifting with Bence’s writing. She is able to weave a complicated and intricate tale while maintaining flow and consistency. This is a great read.” --The Midwest Book Review--
