Something About Me and My Book:: International Women’s Day marks the celebration of women across the globe. It also marks the launch of the inspirational and moving book, Empowering Transformations for Women ~ True Stories of Purpose, Faith and Action to Guide You Through Your Ever-Unfolding Personal and Professional Life. This empowering new anthology book by Powerful You! Publishing ($19.95, ISBN 978-1-4507-5908-3) is a collection of stories by 40 women from various backgrounds.

The authors share their individual stories of transformation through adversity, self-discovery and spiritual awakening. The stories reveal the authors’ less-than-ideal circumstances and emotional struggles—including loss, divorce, abuse, neglect, lack of connection, self-esteem issues and more—to their current state of being, which is one of empowerment, joy and self-love.

The authors chose to tell their stories as a way to assist and provide hope and direction for other women who may be experiencing similar situations in their lives: The idea being that if the authors have made changes that work for them, others can too.
