Im an artist, writer, heavily involved in my own 'interior work' even as I work with men recovering from drug and alcohol addictions.
I love all things spiritual and artistic. I just finished my first book: 'Beyond Humpty Dumpty'. It's a 252 pg recovery reflection book,
based on my personal and communal growth experiences, and outlined by the 12 - Steps of AA, divided into the 4 dinstinct Seasons of the Year as experienced in Minnesota I've included over 92 personal colored photographs of the seasons. The title 'Beyond Humory Dumpty' refers to going beyond what 'all the kings horses and all the kings men' could not accomplish. Our deep need in true, inner healing is to take all the broken or hurting pieces of our lives, give them over to whatever has a positive healing power in our lives and be re-created. We can be 'better' than we were before---a New Creation! As Henri Nouwen said and lived so well: 'The walking wounded have become the wounded healers.'
Sounds like I'm your sort of person/writer -- the spiritual, the artistic and 'the Minnesota" all come up in my blogs and books. Hope you'll check out my page here, while I look at your website. I've published two Kindles and a paperback (biography/memoir) and one Createspace church cookbook. Now I'm serializing an upcoming book about traveling around the US in a Prius at age 80. We started by going around the north shore of Lake Superior, westward from Ottawa, then south to Duluth.
