Something About Me and My Book:
U.S. Navy Lieutenant Nathan Blake has a special skill, he's really good at killing people up close. That's his job and he's not proud of it, but his country needs him. It's December 1941, America is at war and new to the business.

Blake wants out, wants to be a sea-going officer and execute his skills from a distance like most fighting men, but his covert navy department won't let him - he's too damn good at what he does. He will never give up on his goal but while he's sent across half the world to survive assignments with deceit, danger and death, he adds a private quest, the toughest mission of all - to find again the one person he had managed to love - and he must find her fast, she's somewhere in besieged Singapore and in imminent danger.

My book is in the style of a Ken Follet /Patrick O'Brian mix. I have read these authors, and numerous others in the genre, extensively.

As a sea-going officer I traveled the locations of my story: London, New York, Trinidad, Africa and Singapore. As a salesman I came to understand that almost everything is a business. As an actor I learned to offer creative enthusiasm without fear.

I have written presentations for radio (including the BBC) and more recently, over a period of three years, I wrote and presented weekly commentaries for Connecticut Public Radio/NPR.
