Profile Information

Something About Me and My Book:
I am a multicultural/interracial romance writer. I also freelance and have a platform focused on current events and their impact on the African American community as well as African American women specifically.

My first published book, Mismatched, set in a New Jersey suburb and New York's Wall Street, is about a successful African American finance advisor, Tessa Dennison, who after a series of busted blind dates, finally takes love to task by enlisting the help of the Internet and her best friend and secret admirer Justin Martin.

Justin has been in love with Tessa since they met in the 1st grade, but their differing ethnic backgrounds and strong friendship has prevented him from pursuing her. Well, it's now or never when Tessa convinces him to screen her Internet dates for a love match.

Will Justin finally find the courage to claim the woman he has always desired?

Or is Justin too firmly planted in the 'friend zone' to to be listed in Tessa's dating portfolio?

With dates designed to make Tessa squirm, a meddling self-righteous mother, a lesbian sister, and a professional secret Justin in desperate to keep, it's a game of love like no other.
