Something About Me and My Book:: My 1st book, “When Tomorrow Starts Without Me,” was featured in The Authors Show “50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading” book. This book is a true testimony of my son’s life. Have you ever wanted to know what NOT to be when you grow up? Well, this book is a prime example of that. My son, Anthony, was a middleman in a drug gang and when he tried to get out, they poisoned him. Anthony was 19 years old when he passed away. I chose to take my son’s death and make it an example of what you shouldn’t do when you grow up.

My 2nd book, “Well Butter My Butt & Call Me a Biscuit,” is a cookbook of 6 generations of Southern family recipes. This cookbook has almost 600 recipes in it all originating in Arkansas. Including recipes for yeast rolls, casseroles, pies, cakes, ice cream, frog legs, and bear. There are special sections for Dutch oven cooking, canning, meals in a jar, gifts in a jar, wild game, and a kid’s corner. Throughout the book, you will find Southern sayings as well as cross references for: quick & easy recipes, holiday recipes, good for picnic and bar-b-que recipes, award winning recipes, etc. This cookbook is for sale in State Parks, museums, restaurants, hair salons, gift stores, kitchen supply stores, and hotels.

Well Butter My Butt & Call Me a Biscuit

This cookbook has 6 generations of good ole southern family recipes as well as some fun ones. There are around 600 recipes in this book. You will find anything from purple hull peas to jalapeno cornbread, chocolate pie to frog legs, Dutch oven recipes to gifts in a jar, roadkill to potato soup. There is such a wide variety, you’ve got a lot recipes to choose from.
