- Something About Me and My Book:
- I wrote this book from a handwritten journal made by my great great grandmother from letters from her daughter who nursed with Florence Nightingale, came to U.S. in a sailing ship, nursed in the American Civil War.
I went from being a London secretary who was a child in World War II to being a California Cowgirl. Now I live in the Sierra mountains with my second husband, an Irishman who I met in Fresno CA, where I worked for a while as a caregiver. I love to swim, do water aerobics, walk, read, write, play the piano, sing in church choir.
