Something About Me and My Book:: My 15 years as an expert in the financial issues of aging give me a front row seat to the emotional and financial heartache suffered by family members caring for an aging family member.

Families arrive to the demands of caregiving fully unprepared for the challenges they face. There is a need to a simple, easy-to-access, interactive guide that helps them side step the landmines scattered across every caregiver's path and find the help they need.

Based on my professional experience and working with my 90 year old parents, "The Elder Care Survival Guide: How to Care For Aging Parents Without Losing Your Family, Your Money or Your Mind" was born.

The book is written to be accessible and effective.

Like one reviewer wrote "It's like having the Fire Chief himself show up when your house is burning". Adult children caring for aging parents will provide better care, reduce the cost of that care and find emotional comfort using the books easy-to-follow tips.

It will be available for purchase late February-early March 2009.
