- Something About Me and My Book:
- I am a stay-at-home mom of five children, and before that, I taught English in Russian, organized microsattelite loci for the Oregon Spotted Frog (R. pretiosa), worked as a biologist on the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta of Alaska, helping to manage populations of Canada geese, and also worked as an assistant refuge manager at Tensas River NWR. My Book, The Drums Beating House: a memoir, encapsulates the time from my earliest memories onward through my life as a child during the 1980's and early 1990's.
