Something About Me and My Book:: I am a homeschooling mother of 10 beautiful children. I feel extremely blessed to have such important roles of WIFE and MOTHER; which were given to me by God.

Although my life has very few dull moments, I've found another joy to add to my list...the joy of writing. I can lose myself (if only for a short while) in a different time, place and setting (without ever leaving home!)

I particularly love to write for children, in hopes of inspiring them through the art of words. I consider myself a writer seasoned with a southern flair.

I grew up as an only child, surrounded by a healthy array of southern storytellers. My first attempt at storytelling was just a means of entertaining myself after leaving all my cousin playmates at Grandma's house. Instead of writing, I would record myself telling made-up stories, with silly characters (oftentimes making up the story as I talked). When I played these recordings back for my family, they were bent over with laughter. That only inspired me more. As I became older, I found a solace in expressing my "inner-self" on paper -- receiving recognition in the process.

Although most of my work was only "published" to family and friends, I'm happy to have been able to "touch" their lives. Now that I am beginning to expand that "touch" to the public, I hope my readers can feel my "heart" in my writing.
