Something About Me and My Book:: Ray Shoop was born and raised in the hills of Pennsylvania on the cusp of the Great Depression the Second World War. He now resides in the panhandle area of Florida with his Russian born wife and two cats. He is a retired Air Force Flight Engineer, a retired businessman, and plans to retire as an author sometime in the far future. He began his third career as a writer in the early nineties.
