I've been writing fiction for a long time and have a collection of novels mostly set in a place I call Sagadac that resembles Massachusetts where I come from. The stories range in time from the 17th century to the late 20th. I have two shorter pieces set in Canada, where I've been living since 1989.
One of my novels, called "The Hills of the Tigers" examines two features of modern life -- civilian and military. Carl Norberg is an artist who serves in the American army at the start of an Asian war that goes badly. We also learn about the arts community in a large northeastern city where Carl starts his civilian career. Can a man who's not at home anywhere he goes use his talents to build a satisfactory, fulfilled life? Can he find a woman to love and share his days with? www.amazon.com/dp/B00AHEL66G
