Something About Me and My Book:: Scrambled Eggs is the title of my first mystery-thriller. The hero is Jake Wanderman, a retired teacher of english and a Shakespeare maven. The story revolves around a cache of stolen Faberge eggs and the beautiful widow of a russian Mafia boss. In following clues Jake has to go to Moscow where he is imprisoned in the famous Lubyanka prison. How he gets out, solves the murder, recovers the eggs is the fun part of the story.

The second book in the Jake Wanderman series is called Deadly Bones. It is due out in November 2008,
Jake is called upon to solve the murder of a friend who sold an ancient ossuary found in Jerusalem to a mega rich businessman.
After the sale he is murdered and there is a much suspicion about whodunnit. In this case Jake has to go to Jerusalem to investigate the origin of the murder. He finds himself in a lot of trouble with gangsters who sell fake antiquities. Once again, our interpid hero comes through.

Surfing the web I find an amazing amount of writers who do their utmost to promote their books.l I am so impressed by their willingness to do this grunt work. They blog, they Facebook, they Twitter. the go to seminars, do readings, appear at county fairs, grocery stores, almost any venue that will take them.

Their undustry is awesome. I commend them for their hard work and for their efforts.
