Something About Me and My Book:: Hello
I would like to tell you a little secret. I thought selling a book would be as simple as saying here I am, now buy my book. Was I ever in for a realality check. I started a pulishing company with my wife, sister and brother- in- law. We have one book and are in the early stages for the second. We have been in business for three years and as we like to say " we learn on the fly". Everything that I have read regarding the book business, from blogger's, how to books,John Kremer's books and first hands experience is true. Unless you are a celebrity or a high profile person, the only way to sell your book is to believe in yourself, your book and get out there and promote yourself and your book.

Book Synopsis

Romantic Dinners For Two is a book about creating romantic experiences. The book and DVD compliment each other; together they show you easy step-by-step instructions on how to prepare each rendezvous. Chef Robert demonstrates three; four course dinners that you can cook in the comfort of your home. Barb his wife shows how to design three Romantic Scenarios, one in the dining room, second by a fireplace and third in the bedroom. Included in the book are Invitations to invite your significant other to a romantic evening. Tear out Seven Day Planners and Grocery Lists make it easy for a person to organize their event. Throughout the book there are Mood Enhancers, which are suggestions to help you make the evening a little more interesting. Added are Conversation Igniters to stimulate some interesting conversation. At the end of each four course meal is a Final Preparation and Serving Schedule, it shows you how to time, add finishing touches and plate all the dishes. This section is unique because it guides you to preparing and serving everything so you can cook like a chef in your own home. All recipes and photos are full colour. There is a Contest in the back of the book, a complimentary dinner for four, prepared by Chef Robert in the comfort of their own home. Hello

Is romance a forgotten Art? I write this because I'm promoting Chef Robert and Barb Catherine's romantic cookbook called Romantic Dinners For Two. The first year of sales has been ok, selling 5000 copies. The majority of these sales have been through small retail, book festivals, internet, independent book stores.
