Something About Me and My Book:
Greetings from the foggy Humboldt County coast.

I'm pleased to announce I finally completed "Napoleon and Cattaro", which is now available at Amazon or through my e-store listed below. About the book:

Professor Velimirovitch delivered this inaugural dissertation at the University of Bern in 1910.

The subject matter concerns intrigue, combat and confusion during the course of the Napoleonic Wars in the Dalmatia region of the Balkans in the early 1800s. The unprecedented military defeat of the French by indigenous troops accompanied the participation of no fewer than 10 armies principally contesting two cities, Ragusa and Cattaro, separated by less than 100 km.

This classic European military and political analysis has been translated into English for the first time. Readers will likely discover that many of the sources and insights provided by Professor Velimirovitch pertain directly to more recent ramifications of 'Balkanization'. Extensive historical annotation has also been included by the translator.
