Something About Me and My Book:
Hi. I write a mixed genre bag––is it sci-fi? Or fantasy? Or paranormal? Or visionary fiction? The reader will have to decide. I write for discerning readers who don't want ordinary plots or characters. My readers want to be challenged, in addition to thrilled and delighted and made to laugh. I don't write for sissies. My work is very spiritual, winning lots of awards in Visionary Fiction. It's also bloody, violent, sexy, and irresistible. I invite you to look at my reviews on Amazon.

My six books have won twenty-four national awards. I've got two fiction series in print/eBook form. I've also written two nonfiction titles, Stepping Off the Edge, about spiritual practice, and Tecolote: The Little Horse That Could. Tecolote is about a premature baby horse born at our ranch.

While I love to write nonfiction, fiction grabs my heart. I've got two series in progress. My book Numenon: A Tale of Mysticism & Money, tells the story of a great Native America shaman meeting the richest man in the world. One reviewer dubbed it, "Don Juan meets Bill Gates." Numenon's sequel is in production and will be out in 2013.

The Earth's End Saga is my take on what might happen if the current recession doesn't go away. Earth's End I, The Angel and the Brown-eyed Boy, places us at earth's end: a nuclear holocaust will destroy the planet the next morning. A group of people, led by a 16-year-old tech genius and joined by an angelic visitor from outer space, must beat the odds and survive. The Angel & the Brown-eyed Boy won four national awards, including the Gold Medal in Visionary Fiction from the IPPY Awards, the largest and oldest contest for independent publishers. It also won the Visionary Fiction Category in the Indie Excellence Awards.

Earth's End II, Lady Grace, puts us at earth's end again. This time, a few survivors of the nuclear holocaust find each other and try to make a new life. They're up against a prehistoric environment and evolution gone very wrong. Lady Grace has won three national awards in Visionary and New Age Fiction.

Earth's End III, Sam & Emily: A Love Story from the Underground, deals with people trapped in a giant bomb shelter 300 feet beneath the earth's surface. Radiation will keep them their all their lived. And their children's, and theirs . . . How could love survive in such a place? Sam & Emily hasn't won any national awards, most likely because it wasn't entered in any contests!
