Scott Oury has been writing poetry for nearly five decades. He also worked as a textbook editor, earned a Master's Degree in English, and taught writing, drama, and poetry at colleges in Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Illinois. His works have included essays, poems, and articles published in journals and newspapers; and the lead essay in a book celebrating the writer C. S. Lewis. Oury is the author of "Coming to Terms with Experience through Writing," a guide to experiential writing for both aspiring and professional writers. He currently lives and writes in Tesuque, New Mexico where he is completing a book of poetry with the working title "New Moon by Half."
