Hi Sheila, I know what you mean about writing the edgy stuff. When my father in law read my book, I cringed. Call me a prude but I'm working hard to write what the story calls for and let the reader be the one to blush instead of me. Not that I'm that edgy and according to those that I know that have read the book, no one mentioned they blushed. I am a prude. Trust me, my book is tame compared to what is out there. I believe those that can write about vampires and ghouls, should. I am not one of them but wish I was in this time of vampire best sellers. Wizards haven't done so bad either. My book's main character is a seventeen year old girl and I do believe it would appeal to young adults but was written with an adult reader in mind. I'm trying to wrap up my third novel but haven't had much time lately to work on it. Anyway, great to hear from you and glad you are part of the group!
