Profile Information

Something About Me and My Book:: I am Theresa Harvard Johnson - a wife, mother, minister and writer. I've been writing since I was six years old. I spent years as a news reporter here in Georgia, and have written for several magazines including Charisma, and currently the Christian Answer Newspaper. I am also a columnist, and a publisher of Esdras' Scroll Magazine. Writing has been an unquenchable passion that has followed me all of my life. I write poetry, short fiction, and over the past few years have authored several books that discuss Christian writing as ministry. They are self published and sold through our school of ministry and from our website. They are: The Scribal Anointing, The Scribal Anointing Companion, Spiritually Critiquing, Scribal Purpose (free ebook), and the soon to be released book, Scribal Warfare. In addition, I founded a nonprofit organization called, Voices of Christ Literary Ministries International which is headquartered in Atlanta. We have eight chapters across the US and are in the process of expanding internationally. We teach Christian writers who they are based on the biblical origin of the scribe, and bring their role into the present day. In our local chapters, we mentor poets, spoken word artists, songwriters, novelists, playwrights, writers of administration and instruction, as well as other inspirational writers. Our foundation is based on Matthew 13:52. In the ministry circles in which we travel, we are known as ministers of the worship arts and instructors and often teach or present at national conferences and events. We also host classes regionally, and hold a writer's retreat from time to time. Our next retreat is scheduled for September 2009.
