Hello, this is Traci S. Campbell – http://traciscampbell.com

I am a native of Baltimore, Maryland. As an IT consultant, I traveled to various cities for years taking on many projects. I eventually took up residence in Austin,TX for 3.5 years and now I reside in Chicago, IL. It was here in Chi-town, that I met and married the love of my life, Kevin Campbell. :-) Earlier this year, I founded the non-profit organization, The C.H.A.M.P. Community Project. Our mission will be the help promote The C.H.A.M.P. Within concept to at risks schools, rehab centers, shelters, and churches. We will partner with other community organizations to assist in addressing the mental and emotional health of teens, tweens, and their families.

The C.H.A.M.P. Within, Single Parent & Teen Book, Self Help Life Coaching Program

THE C.H.A.M.P WITHIN
- C.H.A.M.P. stands for Character. Happiness. Attitude. Mentality. Purpose. This is a semi-autobiographical account of my personal story growing up in the inner city of Baltimore with a hard working class single mother. I share the positive and the negative lessons that she bestowed upon me as well as her inner demons she dealt with. With these experiences and lessons, I came to the epiphany of The C.H.A.M.P Within concept to help others in similar situations. I decided to devote a lot of my time into sharing what it is like to be a child that has a missing parent. It is all covered in my book, "The C.H.A.M.P Within". Our Teen Reality Show will show how employing 'The C.H.A.M.P. Within' program will help change the lives of these teens and their families. It will reward teens for their hard work, challenges and efforts. Traci S. Campbell and her team will help to make "dreams come true" for each of these teens and their families. I hope you will (as a matter of fact...I know you will) enjoy, learn and make use of the positive tools of my book and the accompanying workbook. Blessings to all!

Tweens and Social Networking Safeguarding The Next Generation of Internet Users

Given all of the pressures and issues today’s tweens face, the internet is both a blessing and, potentially, a curse. Many local companies and entrepreneurs are taking up the cause to make the internet, and specifically social networking, a safer environment for tweens.

Many tweens are just being awakened to the allure of the internet world. Their initial exposure may be limited to just sending email or looking up items on Google. However, Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter usage will… Continue

Celebrities Kids | Celebrity Obsession: Are our teens too star-struck?

Following the lives of teen celebrities such as Taylor Lautner or Miley Cyrus are part of the normal past time for the average teenager today. While on the surface this may sound like the sort of thing we'd expect a young person to be doing with their time, this behavior can also lead to some major psychological issues that have far-reaching effects. In a recent study of…

Hi Traci,
Single parenting can be a lonesome hard life but it also can be very rewarding. Children are wonderful. I was so blessed to have my husband with me for 30 years so when I lost him my child was grown. Some people are not that lucky and have to raise their children without a spouse. Support groups are a wonderful way to help people through tough times. We need to help and encourage others through sad times. I support your efforts, Traci!

It is a pleasure to read from you traci. And the cause you support is a noble one. Sadly, though, it looks like the rank of single parents is likely to swell before the problem is arrested for good. People in that situation need all the help available. Good cause! Thanks for all your dedication, and wish you well with your new book.

Hello Traci,
Thank you for the nice comments. I wouldn't qualify as a single parent, but of course, I do support your efforts. I have been married for nearly 29 years, so I'm very fortunate in that respect. We have two grown children.
Best of luck with your new book.
