Something About Me and My Book:: Canteen Dreams releases in October 2007 from Heartsong Presents. It is followed in May 2008 by Sandhill Dreams and September 2008 by Captive Dreams. All three are historical romances set during World War Two in the great state of Nebraska.

Finished Another Book...Kind of

Late Friday night/early Saturday morning, I finished the first draft of Sandhill Dreams! Woohoo!

Let me tell you, it is a great feeling to type in the last word and

then the final period. I have lived with this story for about five

Butterfly Days

Yesterday contained one of those had to be there moments. Of course, as a writer, I’ll try to describe it.

We’d just gotten home from a friend’s house, and the kids were outside while I put on casual clothes. Confession – I got distracted by email – and next thing I know my daughter is standing in front of me with a
