- The Last Whale will be published in October 2008 by Fremantle Press. It's a piece of narrative nonfiction set in Australia in the 1970s and follows the lives of both whalers and anti-whaling activisits as they battle for Australia's last whaling station. The campaign changed Australia from a pro-whaling nation to an international advocate for the whales. It also saw the formation of Greenpeace in Australia.
