About Me:
I grew up in the Blackland Prairie region of Texas, where miles of grassland and my horse were my best friends.
Married for over twenty years, I now reside in the Texas Hill Country with my husband John, and two children, Jonathan (my older son) and Joseph, who has autism.
I'm an award-winning author, and my stories have been published in newspapers, magazines, and in several of the Chicken Soup for the Soul books.
I have two children's books, both published by DWB Children's line, and centered around the same character, Amelia Frump.
The first book in the series, Amelia Frump and her Peanut Butter Loving Imagination, is about a little girl with an overactive imagination that sometimes gets her into trouble. One night, as the winds howl through the treetops, Amelia sees a spooky, bony finger tapping on the glass outside her bedroom window. Can her wild imagination save her in time, or will she be the final ingredient in a Grubby Sock Casserole?
The second is an activity/cookbook, and has puzzles, coloring pages, fast facts, and illustrations of what a beginning cook will need to complete a recipe.
