Something About Me and My Book:
A small business owner since 1996, I understand the challenges facing small business. I've lived them myself and helped countless clients work through the same issues. I understand the frustrations, the fears, and joys of owning a small business.

My book, "Small Business Cash Flow: Strategies for Making Your Business a Financial Success," tackles how to avoid one of the biggest mistakes small business owners make -- not paying attention to the cash flow in their business. Most small business owners hang out their shingle without having a clue about what’s required to be successful on the money side of their business. And that's why so many of them fail.

Shirley -- Thank you. Lots of good resources from my main site. Online is the way to go these days in my opinion. Still lots of ground to break and places to enter markets. It's good that you have done some PR, but remember it's a process not an event. You might want to hop over to my Small Biz Boot Camp and try out the free PR Primer for Small Business Owners course. It's at http://www.smallbiz-bootcamp.com/pr_primer_course.html

Hi Denice
I was checking out your site and it's interesting. I had a couple of small businesses a few years back but my health got to where I can no longer do it so I started a business on line selling advertising a few months ago.....

It's not going great but I'm selling ads here and there each month. Advertising it is the hard thing. I tried to send out a press release on it to newspapers but don't know if that did any good and I have the sites going in the search engine each month. That also hasn't brought it up in the search engines yet.....

Good to get to know you here. My main site is www.internetfairgrounds.com of which a lot of others branch out from there like dog breeders at the dog fairgrounds site is and cat breeders at the feline fairgrounds.....

Thanks for the welcome Judi! Yes, a lot of businesses have assets or receivables -- but it's the cash that really counts.

Greetins Denise and Welcome! Your topic is very true -- I, myself, have seen many businesses fail before official launch because of poor money management.... looking forward in learning more about you!
