Profile Information

Something About Me and My Book:: I write under the nom de plum GJ Pemberson. Took early retirement in mid 2006 to pursue my passion for research and writing, mainly in the area of Personal Development. That led to a number of unanswered questions like "what's for lunch?" (that particular question went unanswered because I was home alone at the time) and other less significant questions like 'Why do we have so much untapped mental capacity?'
My venture into fiction has been an attempt to answer that particular question. I'm about half way through writing my fourth book and I reckon I've just about got it nailed down!
Response to my first novel 'The Visitor' has been encouraging enough for me to keep going. The first of my trilogy is being officially launched in the real world at the end of August and I am starting to get excited.
I have also chosen to market it on the Internet and that is why I am here

Now what?

I had the first draft of my novel written. What next? Obviously I was looking to be published. Now, you need to know my motivation behind all this. Basically I was wanting to leave a legacy for my children. I have to admit I was not the best father in the world as they were growing up and now that I have a good relationship with them I want them to know where their old man is coming from and what I would want to say to them given half a chance.

The Best Laid Plans Of Mice and Men..

I had read somewhere that you need to know where you are headed in your storyline. That way you know when you reach the end.
