Something About Me and My Book:
I write under the nom de plum GJ Pemberson. Took early retirement in mid 2006 to pursue my passion for research and writing, mainly in the area of Personal Development. That led to a number of unanswered questions like "what's for lunch?" (that particular question went unanswered because I was home alone at the time) and other less significant questions like 'Why do we have so much untapped mental capacity?'
My venture into fiction has been an attempt to answer that particular question. I'm about half way through writing my fourth book and I reckon I've just about got it nailed down!
Response to my first novel 'The Visitor' has been encouraging enough for me to keep going. The first of my trilogy is being officially launched in the real world at the end of August and I am starting to get excited.
I have also chosen to market it on the Internet and that is why I am here

I have to admit I was not the best father in the world as they were growing up and now that I have a good relationship with them I want them to know where their old man is coming from and what I would want to say to them given half a chance.

I know, I know, why don't I take…

Not only that, you have a direction you need to go in during your journey. and religiously worked out a structure for each chapter etc etc etc. It must have taken me three or four days. had read somewhere that you need to know where you are headed in your storyline. The Visitor has arrived

In this blog I'd like to some of my thinking behind

(a) how I got into writing fiction

(b) My experiences in writing

(c) Lessons learned in going down the self publishing route.

I am committed to this becoming (at least in the early stages) a daily exercise, so I won't lay it all out on the table just yet.

Today, I thought I would give you a little background as to what brought me to this point in my life journey.

I was born a a very young age, the…

That would be a fun & challenging book cover!

I don't think your cover artist did it justice though, how are sales going?
