REPULSION THRUST is on sale at Amazon now (just in time for Black Friday)! The book is less than $10 and makes a wonderful gift for poetry lovers, scientists, futurists, literary folk, and anyone who enjoys a bit of uniquely framed introspection. The beautiful cover is by NSW artist Scott Jackson, and I'd love to send you an autographed bookplate, customised to suit your recipient. Drop by:…

Twitter as both social tool, and diary log

Just added a Twitter widget above, so now what I'm doing will always be current (saves the zillion cross postings). I know there are lots of social networks to keep up with, but what I like about Twitter is that it's really fast (you're very limited on text), which means you can just drop in and put in a very fast update before closing each evening. So I don't have to wait for big stuff -- I just pop in each little thing I've been doing (and sometimes I surprise myself with how much I actually… Continue

Chats, poetry and superheroes

My week long LibraryThing chat is now finished, and boy, did I get some great questions. The chat is open for viewing to anyone (you don't need to sign up to LibraryThing, though it is a pretty cool promotional tool). Just drop by LibraryThing and check it out. I made a ridiculous offer there to anyone who dropped in, with the aim of allowing visitors to read my novel, but I'm holding that offer for book marketing… Continue

Authors can create a recurring revenue model with eWorkshops.
Click for more information on our eWorkshop on how you can do this.
This is a great way to accentuate your book sales with a new product.
It also allows you to test new content to see how people react and find the best way to present ideas for your next book!

Hi Magdalena

(Did you know that "Macarena"--as in the infamous dance epidemic--is Latino slang for "Magdalena"? Just thought I'd ask)

Your promotion posts indicate to me that you might be able to either profit by or contribute to my new Self Publishing group here on BMN.
Please take a look, we're trying to build it into a resource for writers who prefer to be their own publisher.
