Move over, C.S. Lewis; Melissa Studdard is here! Annalise of the Verdant Hills is one of the most delightful protagonists to skip through the pages of literature since Dorothy landed in Oz. Join Annalise and her two walking, talking wondersheep as they travel to ever more outlandish places and meet outrageous and enlightening folk…

Congratulations on your all your books. I just wanted to mention to you a website I built called AlreadyPublished.com. It's for authors to promote their book. You do so by posting your book's first chapter, giving readers a peek into your book. The site is free and the list of books is growing, so please check it out. :) BTW, good luck with your books!
p.s. You can also check out this blog post on the Already Published Ning Network, I explain how to post your book. You can also learn more about the website there.
Best,
John
Going up the mountain to the house, they were surrounded by a pack of snarling wild dogs. The pack leader had a split snout that looked like it had been hit with an axe. That was one big, mean, and dangerous looking dog. They were intent on the groceries. Sarah was scared standing very close to Josh, he was determined they would not get their belongings. He was carrying a stout walking stick, and beat them all off. He hit the pack leader on the head hard enough to make him reel back and away. The others followed his lead; he bounded off shaking his head as if to shake off the effects of the blow. Sarah looked at her hero. They took a moment to look back down the mountain side. The city of Haifa lay between the mountains and the shore. Many freighters were close to the docks waiting to unload or load for export. Israeli warships cruised the perimeter of the port.

I'm in the same boat as you: I have written 4 books (I'm now working on my 5th. And all I want to do is promote these books. I haven't been able to get a literary agent -- they are all so important. I wish to learn the best ways to promote my stuff on the internet.

Glad you asked. Can I email an answer rather than post a long post here.
Do let me know.
Cheers
