Something About Me and My Book:
My autobiography titled "Growing with Joe" was released in March of 2007. It is about the trials that my family and I were faced with from the moment that our middle son was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and autism. I wrote this book to help other parents see that their dreams are not necessarily gone but just altered.

Reviews:

Growing with Joe is the story of a courageous woman who has been forced to deal with the diagnosis of CP with her young son. In it the author describes her fears and feelings of this disorder from denial to anger to acceptance. The reader can easily see how this affected not just the author but her entire family. Every day was a struggle with trying to get her son to be as normal as possible and finally coming to terms with his speciality no matter what and being the best parent she… Continue

New newsletter that will feature authors and reviews

Hi everyone!!! I wanted to let everyone know that I am starting a monthly newsletter. I want to feature one author per month with an interview and list recent reviews from several authors that I have wrote. I will also be selecting books to list on my Amazon bookstore site. NOT EVERY BOOK WILL BE PLACED IN THE BOOKSTORE. I also will have a place for readers to read about special needs current events, since my book is about autism and cerebral palsy. By listing articles about current events I… Continue

Well...it's been confirmed!

Today I got a email from the President of our local Easter Seals. I have been booked to speak at their annual dinner on November 15, 2007. I'm actually nervous about it. I have been a guest speaker before for maybe 20 people but this event is suppose to have over 100. Wish me luck!!!

Danielle,
I'm glad to see you were able to find something positive during surely difficult times. My son has a cousin who is autistic and that condition alone is difficult. Good luck to you and God Bless you and your family.

Thank you for your kind words Danielle. The road hasn't always been an easy one but I have had a lot of guidance along the way, thats why I try hard to guide others now, with my editing and low fee. Isn't this a marvelous site!
