Something About Me and My Book:
I've been a financial advisor since 1977, and I'm author of "How To Pay For College Without Going Broke," an invaluable parent/student manual, and the only book of its kind available in Spanish. For the past 28 years I’ve helped thousands of families send their kids to the college of their choice for less than they ever dreamed possible. I just up thehighschoolblog.com and the collegeblog.com, and I'm looking for affiliates to sell my books and reports.

Wow, Reecy! :} I'm fortunate in that my oldest son put himself through college on academic scholarships, and I'm hoping for the same with my younger. It's a good thing I have you as a connection though, just in case. Have you marketed counselors at the High Schools? I would think your book would be a valuable resource for them.
My best,
Kathryne

Hi Reecy -- thanks for your comment on my page. Good luck with your book -- looks like a valuable resource.

You asked about the age demographics of my audience. From what I can tell, it does tend to lean toward the 40+ group -- authors who didn't grow up with computers and need an easy way to learn about the online marketing techniques that will help them sell their books.

Our youngest just graduated college this June. I'm already saving for my grandson's education.

My affiliate page should be up next week. We're about a week or 2 behind schedule.

Hello Reecy,

How are you directing people to your affiliate program? I looked around your bookstore link and could not find it--maybe it's coming. As an idea, you can take a URL like: Reecyinfo.com and point it to your affiliate sign up page. It's what I've done with www.terryinfo.com to encourage people to sign up for my affiliate program (free) and use it on their own sites. John Kremer is using my banners on many places on his bookmarket.com site.

Hello Reecy,

Delighted to know about you, your ebooks and your helpful site. No one comes to mind at the moment in the college age crowd. Your manual looks like a terrific resource. Well-done.

I've been a book acquisitions editor for the last five years and have poured a lot of my experience into my Book Proposals That Sell--which is a paperback with over 70 Five Star reviews on Amazon--and an ebook (www.bookproposals.ws) If you or anyone else dreams of getting a traditional book deal, they need to learn how to write a book proposal. I know many first-time authors have used the book to snag a literary agent or a publishing contract. You can use my banners and affiliate links for free--and sign up at: www.terryinfo.com

Delighted to get acquainted. Where is your affiliate sign up? I couldn't easily see it on your website.
