Something About Me and My Book:
I am a Jamaican singer/songwriter/author of Christian and other material. I recently published my first book in kindle and paperback versions on amazon.com and createspace.com. My book entitled A Deeper Joy is a collection of faith-based poetry that explores in its four chapters issues of faith , salvation, relationships, pain and the afterlife in a unique blend of insights informed by my Biblical roots and a life of wide interactions. I am convinced that this first collection is a timely contribution of hope and reasons for it in a world that increasingly needs material that is affirming and honest in nature.

My second book Three Steps Away From Faith was recently published and is now available for sale.

Please look for my third book As I Reminisce (a recollection of my Jamaican experience), a refreshing rendition and showcase of my neck of the woods my great country Jamaica in poetry.

Look out for my fourth collection of poetry this time for children aged 7-12 years called Special Poems for Exceptional Children. It promises an exciting trek through the world of verse for pre-teens who need affirmation while being educative and entertaining. A must-have for family libraries across the world. Visit amazon.co and creatspace.com for your copy today.

My fifth and latest rendition of Afrocentric poetry is out and ready for your eyes only. The title "The Black in Me" promises an inspiring, revealing segue into the world of people of African origin- our triumphs and struggles. May it serve as a sobering reminder of the importance of the black race's voice in our world.

EVERYONE KNOWS HOW DIFFICULT IT IS TO GET PUBLISHED WHATEVER THE MATERIAL YOU HAVE. IN MY EXPERIENCE TRYING TO GET MY MATERIAL OUT I'VE HAD TO GO THROUGH SOME OBSTACLES. AT FIRST PEOPLE GAVE ME NAMES OF PERSONS WHO COULD POSSIBLY MAKE ME A BETTER WRITER. UNFORTUNATELY, ONLY TWO PERSONS HAVE SAT WITH ME TO REVIEW A FEW OF MY WORKS BRIEFLY. HOWEVER, HAVING HAD THE… Continue

The Black in Me

This poetic offering from Sean C. Harrison serves as an enduring chronicle of the struggles and triumphs of peoples of African origin, whether they be nestled in the jungles and settlements of Africa or live supplanted in the countries of the west. It is a uniting account of the battles of not only the black day to day and historic experience but that of the individual and collective psyche as we seek to assimilate into our indigenous realities the ways of a western world consciousness largely… Continue
