- Something About Me and My Book:
- I am an independent author, currently published through Kendall Publication and Lulu. I live in Tennessee, not far from the Great Smokey Mountains.
My novels, "Sleeping Dogs Lie" and "Cast the First Stone" are the story of two generations of women. Lanae Black and her daughter, Rochelle. After burning their home to the ground, Lanae is sentenced in an unorthodox fashion to return to her home and to face her past. In order to begin her emotional, mental, and physical healing, she must face her own rebellious teenage actions, which scarred her for most of her adult life. For Rochelle, the quest to understand her mother, also leads her to understand herself. While the novels contain no explicit sexual scenes, there is strong adult language.
