To borrow from Wayne Dyer, who borrowed from someone else: Do you focus on what floats or on what sinks? Does it matter, even in your inbox? Yes, it does.
It was with the best intentions one of my newsletter subscribers forwarded an offer from one of the big names, in the event I wanted to include it in the next issue. I looked at the offer and felt it again, that niggling feeling I get when such emails pop into my inbox: something is off about this.
The rifleman of the Napoleonic Peninsular war, 1810 to 1814, was the forerunner of the modern day SAS. Armed with the formidable Baker rifle, the first of its kind to be produced and a more accurate weapon with a longer range than the musket, their job was to operate in pairs ahead of the main infantry to scout and harass the enemy by sniping at senior officers and NCOs in the hopes of causing as much chaos, disorganization and panic as possible. In comparison to the musket, the inferior weapon… Continue

When I first got Rodney Winters' book, I didn't know if it would be one that I would have difficulty reading because of it's subject matter. What would a happily married man be able to absorb from an author whose book is about divorce?
Go Into The House is utterly insightful and full of wisdom. This book is perfect reading material for people who find themselves getting the raw end of the deal in their marriage for no real fault of… Continue

The history of insulin goes back to the early 1920s. “Dr. Frederick Banting and Charles Best are known as the discoverers of insulin. They first extracted insulin from the pancreases of dogs in 1921.” www.TheHistoryOfInsulin.com and www.Dr.CharlesBanting.com.
Ingenuity and desperation were the necessary mothers of this invention, so to speak. As a child, I was often reminded or heard… Continue

Adrian on Darwin
Running a Christian School within the independent sector often means that we are contacted by TV to do this or that, the often asked question is about evolution and creationism as if somehow we did nothing else. Even people like Richard Dawkins has spent time grilling us on our views for his documentary The Root of all Evil. Funnily enough we don’t usually think much about Darwin or evolution between those TV times.
From what I know of Darwin he was a good family man,… Continue

In a physical year there are 365 days and in a leap year there are 366 days. In a physical week there are seven days and one day is a total of 24 hours. During the course of the year there are four seasons and in your life every 12 months you will grow a year older. The idea is that time is measurable and it is not a constant. I was born in 1983 and now 1983 no longer exist it can never come back only thing left is a memory. Centuries pass… Continue

If you’re not experiencing infinite abundance, there’s a good reason it’s not your “reality” yet. The reason relates to a riddle.
The challenge is like the riddle: which came first, the chicken or the egg? In this case it’s which comes first, measurable proof that you’re infinitely abundant or faith that it’s your natural state? The answer for both riddles is the same: the thought or idea of it comes first.
We entangle ourselves with a “chicken and egg” cycle about… Continue
