Behind the scenes of The Time Of My Life

This post isn't really about promoting my book,TheTime Of My Life, but about the reason why I wrote it. The story first began to bloom in the February of my oldest son's seventh grade year. His younger brother's best friend had just comeover to spend the night with us and his mother mentioned that she had just signed Jacob up to run track with the local youth sports organization. Ian responded to Shannon's comment with "I want to run track!" We hadn't known he was…

Sponsorship crazy!

I’ve been going sponsorship crazy and just booked three more sponsorships for KND and my newest discovery, Kindle Fire Department. Kindle Fire Department is a site for Kindle Fire owners, that is growing by leaps and bounds. Sponsorship is easy and relatively cheap (about $50). By getting in now, I locked in dates for sponsorship in May. I also booked sponsorship for SILENT INVASION on The frugal ereader.com ($50). I’m waiting to hear the date on that one. Some of the best sites like Pixels…

For Writers: Blogging – What’s the Big Deal?

copyright aaron paul lazar, 2012

The Beginning

I'd just finished my sixth book in May of 2005, when I was approached by Bob Burdick to create a piece for his book-lovers' website. "Just tell us about your writer's life, how you manage to work and write at the same time. Tell us about the person you are, and how it all fits together."

I'd never really written much more than fiction, emails, and tech reports at…

Life After Death?

As my writing career has taken off, I have to give credit where credit is due. The biggest inspiration for my writing was my grandfather--someone who died before I was born. I met him in a dream. In fact, I've met more than one relative in a dream after they passed from this world, and it has given me tremendous hope for what lies beyond this life. I wrote two stories for the new Chicken Soup for the Soul book, entitled Messages From Heaven.  You can read a third story on my author…

Author: Robert Earle

There are many different outlooks on just that Jesus was, his early life, what he accomplished and his relationship with Mary Magdalene, the church and his disciples. There are many questions that come to mind when we hear his name, try to understand his life and create in your mind the man you think he was. The results!

My Kindle Nation Daily, ebook of the day sponsorship is over and I must say, it wasn’t as successful as I’d hoped. However, sales did increase and as I said before, I also got lots of exposure. So, I decided to buy two more sponsorships. One for DROP OUT and one for SILENT INVASION. Since KND now allows you to pick your dates I figured I can’t lose. This last sponsorship was on a Thursday, but the new ones I have booked are for Friday June 16th, which I figure will be the very…
