A good friend of mine, Rip Cordell, just launched his new ning site. If you enjoy traditional country music, visit http://ripcordell.ning.com. You will be able to sample, as well as, purchase and download his music.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the music when downloaded by you goes to support a very worthwhile fund raising program - The Wounded Warrior Project.

Kia ora,
I like the idea that we are all multicultural. I have felt for a long time that I am multicultural and multidimensional. I am a man, a son, a brother, a husband, and a father. I am a gardener, a walker, a swimmer and a talker. I am a songwriter, a singer, a teacher and a learner. I am an artist and a friend. I am a peace worker.
I have lived and worked with the Bedouin in Saudi Arabia and I have experienced their incredible…

I have enjoyed the opportunity that my
three published novels have had to bring together my passion for the game of golf and the enjoyment I get out of developing really strong, memorable characters. As anyone who has spent time on a golf course knows, the storyline that often unfolds goes well…

So, I wrote the book, The Advocate. Then I rewrote the book. Then I rewrote the book again…and again…and again. I finally found a publisher willing to take a chance on me and guess what? She had me rewrite it again. But I’ve got to tell you, this process is great fun, every step more exciting than the one before. Look at that book cover….It’s gorgeous! And here is a description about the story. I’ll give you a minute to read it….…

The two current books I have out, Murderous Passions and Roland of the High Crags:Evil Arises both have Barnes&Noble ratings assigned to them. Now, if I only knew what these numbers met.
Does anyone in here have some web site or article that helps me translate these numbers into something that is understandable?

My version of Retrofuturism features an intrusion of modern people, technology and ideas into an earlier world. I like it because I can write about modern issues within a scenario that allows swords and swordfights, sailing ships and cannon duels, as well as contrast modern attitudes with those of slower changing societies.
My modern intrusion in the Iskander series of novels are a small group of engineers, technologists, and resource scientists stranded in an alternate 17th century…

Some say that if you go back far enough in time everyone could very well be related to each other. Please don’t tell that to my “Aunt Marie.” She is now a retired schoolteacher in her late eighties. I don’t know if she would have enough time to research all of those connections.
Our family historian has been my dear “Aunt Marie.” She has spent the better part of her life researching county records, state documents, gravestones, periodicals, and anything else that is part of public…

I have just published my book entitled, " A Busy Mom's Guide to Entertaining", with Author House and have been primarily been marketing my book to local mom's clubs in my area. The book has been selling well, but I am looking for any additional ideas on how to reach mom's groups in other areas. Any suggestions? My book has a return policy, and the idependant book stores have been bringing in a few copies here and there, but I am trying to get distribution at the Barnes & Noble stores in my…
