The Other Side of Life

Shocking news yesterday. Pat and I had just come back from church when we received a phone call from our neighbour to tell us that our Vet had murdered his wife. This was the Vet who came to our house four weeks ago to put our dog, Lucy down. We have used his practice for a few years now and he has operated on our cat and dog, plus giving them the usual vaccinations etc. The shop, which is in a local village, was always busy with a mixture of Spanish as well as ex-Pats. The vet’s daughter…

Brother Half Angel

a review of the book BROTHER HALF ANGEL by Martin Roth American missionaries are in China, working at a Bible College that fronts as an English school. Their presence is not agreeable to many in the town, including an ancient martial arts sect known as the ‘Flower Boxers’. The grandson of one of the martyrs is now working at the school, feeling it is his mission to carry on…

Rising above

Two years ago, after amicably parting ways with my literary agent of four years, I decide to take destiny into my own hands and publish my books in eformat. Little did I know I was on the cusp of an indie publishing revolution. My books were available at the right time, for the right audience, and at the right price.…

Around the World TV spotlights my "Un-Cruise Adventure"

I'm not a cruise person, but when I was offered the chance to tour the Hawaiian Islands on board a yacht shared by 36 other passengers I began to change my mind. Then when I learned the trip on the Safari Explorer begins in Lanai, one of the few Hawaiian Islands I've not explored and  then heads to Molokai where guests hike the sacred Halawa Valley I got excited. The next stop is the Big Island and a walking tour of historic Kailua/Kona district.. Since, I have just completed creating a map…
